The Company
This company is a well-established hospitality group operating successful venues across Queensland and SA. With a strong focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences, community engagement, and operational excellence, they are seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead a high-volume operation while continuing to grow revenue, develop teams, and drive business performance.
The Role
As Venue Manager, you will take ownership of all aspects of the business, leading a diverse team across operations, gaming, food and beverage, events, compliance, and customer service. This hands-on leadership role requires a commercially minded hospitality professional who can analyse performance, manage costs, develop people, and deliver memorable guest experiences.
You will be responsible for driving sales through promotions and events, maintaining compliance across all legislative requirements, managing financial performance, and building strong relationships with staff, suppliers, local stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Skills & Attributes
- Minimum 5 years' experience managing a high-volume hospitality venue with gaming and food & beverage operations
- Strong financial acumen with proven experience interpreting P&L reports, controlling labour costs, stock management, and driving profitability
- Demonstrated leadership experience in recruitment, coaching, performance management, and staff development
- Sound understanding of hospitality legislation, licensing requirements, Fair Work obligations, and venue compliance
- Current RSA, RSG, RMLV, Approved Manager's Licence, Gaming Nominee Licence, WHS, and Food Safety certifications
