POSITION
We have a full-time position for a Truck Driver in Weipa QLD 4874.
SKILLS
The role requires you to have:
- A relevant Certificate II or Certificate III and at least 12 months of relevant work experience; OR
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience; and
- A current MC Driver Licence, Dangerous Goods licence and other licences or tickets required for the role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of bulk fuel. The role includes loading fuel at the mine or fuel terminal, maintaining accurate documentation, complying with Mass Management System requirements and company procedures, and providing a high level of customer service.
POSITION DUTIES
- Operate company vehicles to safely and efficiently transport and deliver bulk fuel in accordance with allocated schedules, road laws and company procedures.
- Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained at all times.
- Load fuel as required at the mine or fuel terminal using the applicable site procedures and equipment.
- Ensure all Mass Management System (MMS) rules and requirements are complied with at all times.
- Lodge all required MMS documentation in a timely manner.
- Ensure all transport, delivery and compliance documentation is completed accurately, maintained to a high standard and submitted regularly.
- Conduct required vehicle checks and promptly report defects, incidents or safety concerns to management.
- Maintain fitness for work and comply with all safety and operational requirements.
- Comply with all policies and procedures issued by Weipa Bulk Fuels.
- Monitor licence and ticket expiry dates and notify Administration before expiry, including MSIC cards, High Risk Work licences, MC licences, SLP tickets, Dangerous Goods licences and any additional licences required for WBF Logistics.
SALARY
The position will attract a salary between $80,000 to $100,000 per annum plus a rent and electrically allowance negotiated based on your experience.
