Trade Floor Level 3 Voice Engineer-Major Bank

A major bank in Sydney is seeking a Trade Floor Level 3 Voice Engineer with strong IPC Systems experience. This is a 12 month contract which is likely to extend or go permanent after.
This role will suit a technically strong engineer with a solid background supporting front-office trading environments, managing complex incidents, and delivering technology projects within high-pressure financial services environments.
Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 3 technical support for IPC trading floor voice and communications systems.
• Deliver and support trading floor voice projects, including system deployments, upgrades, migrations and infrastructure refreshes.
• Participate in design, implementation, testing and commissioning of IPC voice solutions.
• Support critical trading floor environments, ensuring system stability, resilience and availability.
• Manage escalations with vendors and third-party support teams, driving issues through to resolution.

Key Skills / Experience:

• Extensive experience in a Level 3 voice engineering or senior support role within financial services, ideally in an investment bank or trading environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with IPC trading floor communications systems.
• Proven experience supporting business-critical voice infrastructure in a fast-paced, high-availability trading environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Experience delivering technical projects alongside day-to-day BAU responsibilities.
