Are you an experienced Team Leader who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? Do you love being the go-to person for supervising childcare services and ensuring smooth operations? If so, we'd love to hear from you. Join us and take on a pivotal role in supporting the community and driving efficient service delivery within the council.

As our Team Leader - Children's Services, you'll play a key role in childcare service while acting as the nominated supervisor providing and developing a high quality, culturally relevant Early Childhood Education for children aged from birth to school age.

This role is based in one of our 13 communities, with relocation allowance and community-based housing for non-local applicants—giving you a chance to connect with the people and places that make this region so special.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Completed or working towards a Certificate III level qualification in Early Childhood, with commitment to work towards a Diploma in Early Education and Care.
  • At least 1 year experience in a similar role or a childhood setting.
  • Experience in leading and managing teams.
  • Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is adaptable, collaborative, and passionate about making a difference.
