Tax Manager - HNW & SMSF

We’re looking for an experienced Public Practice Accountant to manage a specialist portfolio of High Net Wealth (HNW) individuals, family groups and SMSF clients.

Strong Senior Accountants ready to step into their first Manager role are also encouraged to apply.

The Role:

Working closely with a Director, you’ll manage a quality portfolio with a focus on personal tax, compliance and advisory work. You’ll build strong client relationships while developing your technical and leadership skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing HNW, family group and SMSF clients
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns
• Providing tax compliance and advisory support
• Working with the Director on complex client matters
• Advising across personal tax, trusts, investment entities and Div 7A
• Reviewing work and supporting junior team members
• Building strong, long-term client relationships

About You

• CA/CPA qualified
• Public practice accounting experience
• Strong personal tax and compliance knowledge
• Experience with trusts, investment entities and Div 7A
• SMSF experience highly regarded
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Leadership or mentoring experience, or an interest in developing these skills
