Student Management System (SMS) Administrator
- Responsible for the administration and maintenance of the student management system.
- Ensure accurate and secure management of student data and system functionality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve system efficiency and functionality.
- Full-time 38 hours per week, On-going position
- Warrnambool Campus
- $87,521 per annum, plus superannuation
Reporting to the Team Leader - Student Management System, the SMS Administrator is responsible for the overall administration and maintenance of South West TAFE’s student management system, ensuring efficient operation and support for staff. The primary focus in this role is to ensure the accurate and secure management of student data, system functionality, and user access.
Continuous improvement of the student management system is a key aspect of this role, working with key internal and external stakeholders in the development and implementation of new functionality and interfaces that assist with the efficiency of South West TAFE operations as well as the management of student data.
The must haves
Mandatory requirements
- A Degree or Diploma qualification in a relevant field of data management, Information Technology or business systems administration, together with a minimum of 3-year practical application post qualification.
- Experience in student management systems administration or a similar role.
- Employee Victorian Working with Children and satisfactory Police Check
Highly desirable requirements
- Knowledge of, and experience in, an educational environment including knowledge of the Victorian TAFE system and the national Vocational Education and Training sector.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office products and relevant industry software and programs.
