Structures Foreman
- Manage retention systems, temporary works and concrete structures.
- Coordinate formwork, reinforcement, concrete pours and post-tensioning.
- Supervise structural subcontractors, deliveries and site logistics.
The Opportunity
An established commercial builder is seeking an experienced Structures Foreman for a seven-level apartment development.
While the project has no basement, the successful candidate must have strong experience with retention systems, temporary works and reinforced concrete structures. Working alongside the Site Manager, you will drive the structural program and coordinate subcontractors through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage retention systems, temporary works and concrete structures
- Coordinate formwork, reinforcement, concrete pours and post-tensioning
- Supervise structural subcontractors, deliveries and site logistics
- Develop short-term programs and achieve key milestones
- Review drawings and resolve construction issues
- Coordinate engineers, surveyors and consultants
- Complete pre-pour inspections, ITPs and quality checks
- Maintain high safety and workmanship standards
- Coordinate the structure with services, façade and following trades
About You
- Experience as a Structures Foreman on multilevel apartment projects
- Strong knowledge of retention systems and temporary works
- Extensive reinforced concrete experience
- Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings
- Strong subcontractor management and programming skills
- Relevant trade background and construction qualifications
