An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Stores Person / Warehouse Operator to join a well-established national transport and logistics business operating one of North Queensland's busiest distribution networks.
Working within the company's 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) division, you'll play a key role in ensuring stock is accurately received, stored, picked, and dispatched to meet customer requirements.
Your new role
This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forklift operation and safe material handling
- Order picking and packing
- Stock movement and inventory control
- Receiving and dispatch activities
- Maintaining warehouse presentation and safety standards
- Working collaboratively within a busy logistics team
What you'll need to succeed
- Current LF Forklift Licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse, stores or order picking experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a physically active role
- Reliable work ethic and commitment to workplace safety
- Experience within transport, logistics or 3PL environments will be highly regarded
What you'll get in return
$37.00 per hour + penalties
Consistent Monday to Friday roster (7am - 3pm)
