In this role, you'll manage large loads of building steel, working in a busy industrial environment that values your experience and reliability. Your skills will contribute directly to the smooth operation of a dynamic yard. There is also regular overtime, and while not mandatory, it’s available if you're interested.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a storeperson, ideally in heavy industrial settings involving steel or timber
- Ability to handle large loads and long pieces of building materials
- Familiarity with large forklifts (bigger than standard) and knowledge of crane operations is a plus
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, hardworking, and down-to-earth attitude
Nice to Have Skills:
- Crane operation experience (not mandatory)
- Previous experience in a similar industrial yard environment
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Previous experience in a steel or timber yard
- Forklift license
Other Requirements:
- The ability to work Monday to Friday
- Ability to work regular overtime if desired
