Are you an experienced Storeperson / Yard Hand who enjoys staying active, working with a great team, and getting the job done right?
We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and safety-focused Storeperson / Yard Hand to join a busy and growing operation in Port Melbourne.
This is not a sit-behind-a-desk role — you’ll be hands-on across the warehouse and yard, operating a forklift, loading and unloading trucks, moving stock and keeping the site running smoothly.
THE ROLE
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Picking, packing and moving stock
- Receiving and dispatching goods
- Assisting with deliveries and general labouring duties
- Keeping the warehouse and yard clean, organised and safe
- General yard and warehouse maintenance
- Working closely with the team to keep operations moving efficiently
- Pitching in wherever required to get the job done
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
- Previous experience as a Storeperson, Warehouse Worker or Yard Hand
- Strong forklift experience
- A current Forklift Licence
- Practical understanding of tools, equipment, materials and general maintenance
- A current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team
- A reliable, punctual and safety-first approach
- The physical ability and willingness to work in both warehouse and outdoor yard environments
