SOS Recruitment is excited to be partnering with Elite Supplements, one of Australia's fastest-growing sports nutrition and supplement brands, to recruit a passionate and energetic Sports Marketing Manager to join their growing team in Sydney.

With more than 150 locations nationwide, Elite Supplements has built a strong presence in Australia's sporting and fitness community through athlete partnerships, sponsorships, major sporting events and brand activations.

This is an exciting, hands-on opportunity for someone who wants to be right in the middle of the action, working directly with athletes, sporting organisations, brand ambassadors and event partners to bring exciting sporting campaigns and events to life.

We're looking for someone who genuinely loves sport! Whether you've competed as an athlete, been involved with sporting clubs or organisations, or worked in sports marketing and sponsorships, you'll understand the sporting landscape and thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment.

Most importantly, you'll be a fantastic organiser with proven experience coordinating sporting events, activations or sponsorships, who enjoys getting out from behind a desk and making things happen!

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver sporting events, sponsorship activations and brand experiences, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

• Work closely with professional athletes, sporting clubs, ambassadors and event organisers to bring Elite Supplements' sporting partnerships to life.

• Coordinate event logistics, including venues, schedules, equipment, signage, promotional materials, product distribution and athlete appearances.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with athletes, agents, sporting organisations, sponsors and brand partners.

• Manage athlete and ambassador programs, including onboarding, appearances, deliverables and campaign schedules.

• Attend sporting events, competitions, expos and brand activations, representing Elite Supplements and ensuring successful event delivery.

• Work with the wider marketing and content teams to create engaging campaigns, athlete collaborations and social media content.

• Identify exciting new opportunities for sporting partnerships, sponsorships and community engagement.

• Coordinate photo shoots, video content, interviews and promotional campaigns involving athletes and sporting personalities.

• Monitor campaign and event performance, manage budgets and maintain marketing calendars and event schedules.

Experience and requirements

• A genuine passion for sport is essential! Ideally, you'll have a background as an athlete, involvement in competitive sport or experience working within the sporting industry.

• Approximately 2–4 years' experience in sports marketing, sponsorships, partnerships, events, brand activations or a related field.

• Proven experience organising and coordinating events, ideally sporting events, competitions, sponsorship activations or athlete appearances.

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events, competing priorities, schedules and stakeholders.

• Confidence working directly with athletes, sporting clubs, event organisers and external partners.

• An outgoing, energetic and proactive personality, with a willingness to get involved and make things happen.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• A strong understanding of the Australian sporting and fitness landscape.

• Experience coordinating social media campaigns, athlete content or brand partnerships would be highly regarded.

• A willingness to attend sporting events, activations and occasional activities outside standard business hours as required.
