Role Description/Criteria

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Specialist Instrumental Music Teacher to deliver high quality classes to our students.

- Appropriate qualifications and current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
Responsibilities and Criteria for FTE 0.2 include:
? Teaching a range of musical instruments in weekly lessons to students in 4 or 5 classes of Years P-6.
? Working collaboratively with the Performing Arts team to contributing to our biannual School Production and other school performances.
? Participating in and contribute to various school-organised events and activities as required.
? Monitoring the progress of each student and providing meaningful, regular feedback on their learning and musical development, and writing formal academic reports twice yearly.
? Demonstrating competency and confidence in the use of digital technologies to support teaching, learning and communication.
Responsibilities and Criteria for applicants interested in 0.4 FTE would also include:
? Teaching additional small-group instrumental music lessons in drums, keyboard and guitar, and other duties as negotiated.
