Solution Architect
- Design and deliver end-to-end solution architectures across complex enterprise environments.
- Develop architecture artefacts, including technical designs, integration models, solution diagrams and deployment architectures.
- Provide technical leadership throughout solution design and delivery.
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support the delivery of complex technology initiatives within a large enterprise environment.
This opportunity will suit an architect who enjoys working across multiple technology domains, solving challenging integration problems and translating business requirements into practical, scalable and secure solutions.
You will play a key role in solution design, technical discovery, architecture governance and emerging technology assessments.
The environment involves a combination of enterprise applications, cloud platforms, operational technology, data integration and security.
- Brisbane CBD office location, hybrid
- Paying market rate
- Contract to June 2028 with 24 months of extensions
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver end-to-end solution architectures across complex enterprise environments.
- Develop architecture artefacts, including technical designs, integration models, solution diagrams and deployment architectures.
- Define integration patterns, APIs, data flows and security boundaries across cloud and operational environments.
- Work across AWS, operational technology, IoT, data platforms and enterprise applications.
- Assess technology options and recommend practical, fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Support proof-of-concept initiatives and emerging technology evaluations.
- Provide technical leadership throughout solution design and delivery.
- Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders and external vendors.
- Ensure architectural designs align with enterprise standards, security requirements and governance frameworks.
- Balance strategic architecture considerations with hands-on delivery requirements.
What you will bring:
- Proven experience working as a Solution Architect in large enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of AWS or comparable cloud platforms.
- Experience across operational technology (OT), IoT or connected technology environments.
- Experience designing integrations between cloud platforms, enterprise systems and operational environments.
- Strong understanding of APIs, networking, security architecture and data flows.
- Experience developing solution architecture documentation and technical design artefacts.
- Exposure to CCTV, video management systems or similar operational platforms (highly desirable).
- Experience undertaking technical assessments, options analysis and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- A pragmatic, hands-on approach to architecture and solution delivery.
