An established commercial builder is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a multi level $40m industrial development in Port Melbourne.
With a strong pipeline of secured projects across Melbourne, this builder has built a reputation for delivering quality commercial and industrial developments while maintaining a collaborative and supportive team environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of a substantial project, working alongside an experienced Project Manager and well-resourced delivery team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all day-to-day site operations from commencement through to practical completion.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades and suppliers to ensure programme milestones are achieved.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and compliance across the project.
- Oversee structural works, services coordination, external works and final finishes.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to manage construction programmes, site resources and project risks.
- Conduct site meetings, inspections and quality assurance processes.
About You:
- Minimum 10+ years' experience as a Site Manager within commercial or industrial construction.
- Proven experience delivering projects valued at $20m+, ideally within industrial, logistics or commercial sectors.
- Strong understanding of structural steel, concrete construction, services coordination and external works.
- Excellent subcontractor management, programming and leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of Victorian building regulations and OH&S requirements.
- Relevant trade or construction qualifications.
