About Us
We're currently partnering with a highly regarded commercial builder that is experiencing significant growth across South Australia and is looking to appoint experienced Site Managers to support a strong pipeline of current and upcoming projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional who enjoys leading site teams, driving project outcomes, and delivering high-quality builds across sectors including education, aged care, residential, and community infrastructure.
About the role:
As Site Manager, you'll take ownership of site operations from commencement through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.
You'll be responsible for
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
- Driving site safety, compliance, and quality outcomes
- Monitoring project progress against construction programs
- Managing site logistics and construction sequencing
- Conducting toolbox talks, site meetings, and inspections
- Resolving on-site issues and maintaining project momentum
- Working closely with Project Managers and key stakeholders to achieve project objectives
Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years' experience in a Site Manager, Senior Site Supervisor, or similar leadership role within commercial construction
- A proven track record delivering commercial building projects from start to finish
- Strong knowledge of Australian building regulations, construction methodologies, and WHS requirements
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades on-site
- Proficiency with construction software such as Aconex, MS Project, and/or Bluebeam
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
