Training Superintendent | Gold Mining Operation | 10-Hour Days | Leadership Role
We're seeking an experienced Training Superintendent to lead and support the site's training and competency systems within an established mining operation.
This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring employees are appropriately trained, assessed and compliant with site, legislative and industry requirements, while supporting a strong culture of safety, capability and continuous improvement.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for the overall coordination and governance of the site's training and competency systems, including leading Training Advisors, Trainer/Assessors and training governance activities.
The role will also support training systems, budgets, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the operation maintains a high standard of workforce competency and compliance.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience managing mining training and competency systems
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
- Experience with INX or similar training management systems
- Strong understanding of training compliance and competency verification
- Knowledge of nationally recognised training requirements
- Previous experience leading or supervising a training team
- Ability to develop and implement effective site training programs
- Strong understanding of mining operations and workplace safety
- Excellent administration, record-keeping and reporting skills
- Ability to manage training budgets and work within business requirements
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Demonstrated commitment to Evolution Mining values
