About the Role
 

The Senior Strategic Analyst, International Collaborations will lead a strategic review of Swinburne’s existing international collaborations and partnerships to identify opportunities to strengthen their strategic value and impact.

The role will undertake analysis and stakeholder consultation to assess current partnerships, identify future opportunities and develop evidence-based recommendations to inform Swinburne’s future International Collaborations Strategy, aligned with the University’s strategic priorities and Ad Astra framework.

The role has a university-wide scope and will engage stakeholders across the University to shape strategic recommendations that influence future international collaboration priorities, investment and partnership decisions.

This is a part-time .8 FTE, fixed term contract until 21 Dec 2026.

About You 

To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex strategic projects and organisation-wide change, including research, analysis and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including environmental scanning, benchmarking and synthesis of complex information into actionable recommendations.
  • Proven ability to design and facilitate stakeholder consultation, build trusted relationships and influence senior and diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic frameworks, business recommendations, and executive-level reports and presentations.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, governance, risk management and delivery in ambiguous environments with competing priorities.
  • Experience in higher education, research, innovation or international engagement, including partnership models, governance and risk.
