Your new company
Hays is partnering with a Federal Government Department to source experienced Solution Architects to support a range of enterprise technology initiatives that underpin one of Australia's most significant digital service environments. This department delivers critical services to millions of Australians and continues to invest heavily in the technology, platforms and capabilities. With a large and complex technology landscape, the agency is undertaking ongoing transformation initiatives focused on improving participant outcomes, strengthening digital services and modernising core business capabilities.
Your new role
As a Solution Architect, you'll lead the design of end-to-end technology solutions across complex digital and business transformation programs. Working closely with delivery teams, technical specialists and business stakeholders, you'll ensure solutions are scalable, secure and aligned to enterprise architecture standards.
You'll play a key role in shaping technical direction, providing architecture leadership and guiding solution design across large-scale initiatives that support critical national services.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you'll bring proven experience delivering solution architecture outcomes within large and complex enterprise environments. You'll demonstrate experience across:
- End-to-end solution architecture and design
- Business, application, integration and data architecture
- Cloud-based and hybrid technology environments (AWS and Azure)
- Architecture governance and design assurance
- Stakeholder engagement and technical leadership
- Translating business requirements into technology solutions
- Production of architecture artefacts and design documentation
- Working within Agile and multidisciplinary delivery teams
- Experience within large Federal Government departments, complex transformation programs or citizen-facing service environments will be highly regarded.
- Active AGSVA Clearance
