With a strong pipelineof upcoming work, an established delivery team and significant capabilityacross pre-construction, they are now looking to add a Senior Project Managerto their Sydney team. The business has a great culture, good support at senior leveland a genuine focus on developing and promoting people from within.
Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who is ready to make the step up into a Senior Project Manager position,or an existing SPM looking to join a larger, well-supported business.
You will take responsibility for delivering high-endcommercial fit-out projects up to $30M, predominantly across Sydney CBD.Projects are client-facing and design-heavy, with exposure to Design &Construct and some medical environments.
Working alongside anexperienced delivery team and a strong pre-construction function, yourresponsibilities will include:
- Managing commercial fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Leading project teams and coordinating subcontractors and consultants
- Managing programmes, budgets, procurement and project delivery
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Working closely with the pre-construction and estimating teams
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard
- Taking ownership of commercial outcomes and overall project performance
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful inthis position, you will need:
- Previous experience deliveringhigh-value commercial fit-out projects
- Experience working for a head contractor / fit-out contractor
- Strong understanding of Design & Construct project delivery
- Proven experience managing projects, subcontractors, consultants and internal teams
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Confidence managing projects in the$10M-$30M range
- The ambition to step into a Senior Project Manager role and continue progressing your career
You don't necessarily need to already hold the Senior Project Manager title. They are particularly interested in experienced PMs who can demonstrate they are ready to take that next step.
