An exciting opportunity exists for a commercially minded and influential finance leader to join CSL as Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner.
Reporting to the Director, Finance Business Partnering, this role is the second-in-command within the Broadmeadows Finance Business Partnering team and a key member of the Broadmeadows Extended Leadership Team. Partnering closely with Manufacturing Value Stream leaders and site leadership, you will provide trusted financial advice, insights and decision support that drive operational performance, productivity and long-term business outcomes.
This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to evaluate business improvement and growth opportunities, lead financial planning activities and drive the financial performance of one of CSL's most critical manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Manufacturing Value Streams and site leaders to provide financial insight, challenge and decision support that drives business performance and strategic outcomes
Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and long-range planning activities, including workforce, inventory and operating expenditure planning
Deliver financial reporting, performance analysis and meaningful business insights that support informed decision-making
Identify risks and opportunities and translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable recommendations
Lead financial modelling, scenario analysis and business case development to support strategic investments, operational improvements and site planning initiatives
Drive value creation through cost optimisation, productivity improvement, capacity expansion and continuous improvement initiatives
Leverage automation, AI and data analytics to enhance financial reporting, decision support and business performance insights
Champion strong financial governance, internal controls and compliance while ensuring accurate reporting and effective stewardship of site financial performance
Lead, coach and develop finance team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
CA, CPA or CIMA qualification
MBA or postgraduate qualification highly regarded
10 years of Accounting and Finance experience with at least 5 years in Finance Business Partnering roles preferably in a manufacturing or supply chain environment
Strong financial planning, forecasting, reporting and performance management expertise
Proven ability to influence senior operational leaders through data-driven insights and constructive challenge
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives, continuous improvement programs and operational transformation
Track record of coaching, developing and leading high-performing finance teams
