About the opportunity  
Help shape the future of one of Australia's largest operational networks. As a Senior Lean Operations Partner, you'll work alongside operational leaders to deliver Australia Post's national Lean program across our facilities and value streams. You'll help turn strategy into action by building capability, solving operational challenges and embedding continuous improvement practices that drive measurable outcomes in Safety, Service and Efficiency.
This is an opportunity to influence change at scale, partnering with leaders and Lean Champions across the network to deliver improvements that have a lasting impact on our people, customers and business.
The role involves regular travel to operational sites, with occasional interstate travel and some observation of operations outside standard office hours.

What you’ll deliver with us 
As a trusted partner to operational leaders, you'll help identify opportunities, remove barriers and embed better ways of working across the network. 
You'll:

  • Deliver the national Lean program across an assigned group of facilities and value streams
  • Coach leaders and Lean Champions to build continuous improvement capability
  • Facilitate problem-solving workshops and Lean improvement activities
  • Use data and operational insights to identify opportunities to improve Safety, Service and Efficiency
  • Support the implementation and standardisation of successful improvement initiatives across the network
  • Monitor progress, track benefits and identify delivery risks
  • Influence and engage stakeholders to embed sustainable change and continuous improvement practices

About you   
You're an experienced Lean, Operational Excellence or Continuous Improvement professional who enjoys working with people to improve performance and solve complex operational challenges. You bring a practical, collaborative approach and can translate insight into action while building strong partnerships across a diverse stakeholder group. 
You'll bring:

  • Lean certification (Green Belt or above) or equivalent experience
  • Experience delivering Lean, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence initiatives in operational environments
  • Strong coaching, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience applying Lean methodologies and structured problem-solving techniques to deliver measurable outcomes
  • The ability to analyse performance data and translate findings into practical improvement opportunities
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation
  • A current driver's licence and willingness to travel across operational sites
  • Experience in logistics, transport, supply chain, manufacturing, FMCG, warehousing, retail or other complex operational environments will be highly regarded.
