Your new role
An excitingopportunity has arisen for a Senior / Lead Power Systems Engineer to join aspecialist technical team responsible for delivering advanced network studiesand supporting key planning and connection decisions.
This role can betailored to suit either an experienced Senior Engineer looking to take the nextstep or an established Lead Engineer seeking greater influence across majornetwork and infrastructure projects. You'll provide technical expertise acrosspower system analysis, transmission planning and generation connections,helping shape future network capability and support the successful integrationof new energy infrastructure.
Key responsibilities:

• Lead advanced powersystem studies across steady-state, dynamic and electromagnetic transient (EMT)domains
• Assess systemstrength, stability and network capability impacts for new and existingconnections
• Develop and maintainnetwork models using PowerFactory
• Provide technicaladvice on large-scale generation and major customer connections
• Support networkplanning decisions, development strategies and long-term investment planning
• Contribute to businesscases and technical assessments that influence future network capability
• Collaborate withinternal teams and external stakeholders to resolve complex engineeringchallenges
• Balance technical,commercial and operational considerations to achieve practical outcomes
• Provide technicalleadership, coaching and mentorship across the broader engineering team

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree qualificationin Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Strong communicationand stakeholder engagement skills
• Significant experiencein power systems engineering within utilities, transmission, consulting orrenewable energy sectors
• Strong capability inpower system studies and network modelling using PowerFactory
• Experience intransmission planning, generator connections and network performanceassessments
• Understanding of powersystem stability, system strength and network capability
• Demonstrated technicalleadership, mentoring and stakeholder influence experience will be highlyregarded
• Eligibility for CPEngand/or NER registration (desirable)
