Senior Investments Data Business Analyst

• 6 month initial contract
• Must be Melbourne based and have Australian work rights
• Must have investment management and/or data related projects or in investment management experience
• Hybrid - 3 days on site

This role combines stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills with technical expertise to assess stakeholder needs, document requirements, model process flows, support testing, and evaluate change impacts.

This position requires someone who can effectively elicit and explain complex data concepts to different audiences and build alignment across stakeholder groups.

As the Senior Investment Data BA you will collaborate with data engineers, internal software development teams, and external vendors, to deliver solutions that address business needs.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Industry experience working as a Senior Investment Data Business Analyst for investment management and/or data related projects or in investment management.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, investment domain understanding; ideally supported by technical capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, database design, agile methodologies, investment operations, and market data providers will be valuable.
• Exceptional understanding of financial data and data providers.
• Subject matter expertise in data analytics, data mapping and data interrogation.
• Experience employing the use of business analysis techniques such as: requirements decomposition; data analysis and data modelling; process modelling; and functional modelling
