The role
Working closely with Partners and Managers, you will help manage corporate insolvency appointments, investigate company affairs and prepare financial information and reports for stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with the day-to-day management of liquidations, voluntary administrations and receiverships
- Investigate company affairs and identify potential voidable transactions or misconduct
- Prepare budgets and cash flow forecasts, and monitor financial controls
- Draft statutory reports for ASIC and creditors, maintaining compliant working papers
- Build relationships with clients, creditors, legal advisers and other stakeholders
- Contribute to business development initiatives where appropriate
About you
- Relevant insolvency, restructuring experience
- A relevant degree and CA/CPA qualification completed or underway
- Strong analytical skills and an interest in developing an insolvency career
- Clear written and verbal communication with close attention to detail
- Ability to manage tasks independently and collaborate in a changing environment
