Senior Finance Business Partner - General Insurance

Due to growth they have a newly created opportunity for a Senior Finance Business Partner from a general insurance background to join the high-performing finance team. This role will be pivotal in driving financial performance, delivering actionable insights and partnering with executive and operational stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders across product, underwriting, claims and distribution.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
- Provide strategic and operational financial analysis to support key initiatives and performance optimisation.
- Develop and deliver business cases and investment appraisals for major projects and transformation activities.
- Identify risks and opportunities and proactively influence commercial outcomes.
- Present financial results, insights, and recommendations to non-finance stakeholders in a compelling, accessible way.
- Lead and mentor finance business partners and senior analysts within the team
About You
- CA/CPA qualified with 10+ years' post-qualification experience, ideally in general insurance, life insurance or reinsurance
- Strong financial modelling, analysis and business case development skills.
- Proven track record of successful business partnering and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
- Commercially savvy with excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment with multiple priorities.
- Experience with large ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, TM1) and strong Excel/Power BI skills.
