Your new roleAs a Senior Claims Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of life insurance claims, predominantly Income Protection and TPD.

This is a handson claims role where you will manage claims endtoend, focusing on benefit management, returntowork outcomes, and clear, defensible decisionmaking.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of IP and TPD claims
• Assessing entitlement through medical, vocational, and contractual evidence
• Managing ongoing benefit payments and pending claims
• Engaging with members, employers, and medical providers
• Making clear, timely, and wellreasoned claim decisions
• Handling more complex matters and technical queries
• Contributing to consistent, highquality customer outcomes
• Acting with autonomy and being a technical reference point / mentor for junior staff.

What you'll need to succeed

• At least 2-3 years' experience in Life Claims (both TPD & IP desirable)
• Strong knowledge of insurance contracts and complex decisionmaking
• Ability to manage technical issues independently
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to manage workload in a performancefocused environment
• Genuine interest in supporting members through complex circumstances
