Senior Business Analyst | State Government
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a major transformation program within a South Australian State Government environment.This contract will focus on developing target-state process maps and detailed business requirements as part of a complex operating model transformation.
Your new role:
Working closely with business SMEs and key stakeholders, you will:
- Develop detailed target-state process maps and business requirements
- Facilitate and support interactive workshops with SMEs
- Review existing materials and use them to develop future-state processes
- Undertake current-state assessments, process analysis and redesign
- Validate process maps with key stakeholders
- Translate agreed processes into functional and non-functional requirements
- Ensure quality and traceability across requirements and documentation
- Support governance, status reporting and operating model decision-making forums
- Engage with additional SMEs as required to complete process documentation
What you'll need to succeed:
To be successful, you will ideally bring:
- 5+ years' experience as a Senior Business Analyst
- Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience
- Strong experience within large-scale business or operating model transformation
- Demonstrated experience developing target-state process maps
- Strong business process mapping skills, including BPMN or equivalent
- Experience with current-state analysis and process redesign
- Knowledge or understanding of Asset and Facilities Management
- Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong problem-solving, requirements gathering and documentation capabilities
- Experience using Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Miro or similar tools
