The Role
We’re looking for someone to join our Stafford team in an Internal Sales role with plenty of opportunity to make it your own.
You’ll look after customers from initial enquiry through to sale, preparing quotes, processing orders and following up opportunities. More importantly, we want someone who enjoys selling, building relationships and finding opportunities rather than simply waiting for the next order to come through.
For someone keen to develop further, there’ll also be opportunities to take ownership of local accounts, get out in front of customers and build experience in external sales.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Handling customer enquiries across phone, email and the trade counter
- Preparing quotes, processing orders and following up opportunities
- Building relationships with existing customers and growing accounts
- Proactively contacting customers to generate sales
- Following up enquiries and quotes through to an outcome
- Supporting external sales with quotes, orders and customer requests
- Taking ownership of local accounts as you develop in the role
About You
You might already have internal sales experience within trade supplies, wholesale, construction or industrial products, or you could be looking for the opportunity to build your sales career.
Either way, we’re looking for someone who:
- Enjoys sales and is confident picking up the phone
- Builds strong relationships with customers
- Follows opportunities through rather than simply processing orders
- Has good commercial instincts and looks for ways to grow sales
- Is proactive, reliable and comfortable taking ownership
- Is keen to learn and potentially develop into external sales
- Holds a current driver’s licence and full Australian working rights
