Retail Transaction Manager – NSW/ACT

  • Work with an iconic Australian brand and established national property team
  • Hybrid arrangement with three days in the Strawberry Hills office

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Retail Transaction Manager to support the delivery of leasing and transaction outcomes across a large and operationally critical NSW and ACT retail portfolio.

Working within an established national property team, you will manage a broad range of lease events, including renewals, relocations, market rent reviews and new leasing transactions. This role would suit a proactive and commercially minded property professional who enjoys managing a high-volume portfolio and engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end leasing transactions, including renewals, relocations, market rent reviews and other lease events
  • Proactively manage critical dates, transaction milestones and approval timeframes
  • Conduct inspections of existing and prospective retail premises when required
  • Prepare site search documentation, option analysis, market evidence and transaction recommendations
  • Develop high-quality submissions and supporting materials for internal and client approval
  • Engage with landlords, agents, legal advisers, finance teams and internal stakeholders
  • Support the negotiation and execution of leases, licences and associated documentation
  • Coordinate make-good obligations, incentives and market rent review processes
  • Identify portfolio risks, opportunities and upcoming stakeholder actions
  • Provide accurate reporting on transaction progress, risks, critical dates and decision points
  • Maintain accurate portfolio and transaction data within CoStar and other systems

To be successful, you will have:

  • A current NSW real estate licence or certificate of registration, which is mandatory
  • Relevant experience in retail leasing, transaction management or commercial property
  • A strong understanding of lease processes, critical dates and commercial documentation
  • The ability to prepare clear recommendations, approval submissions and stakeholder updates
  • Strong commercial judgement and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills
  • Confidence using property management systems, reporting tools and Microsoft Office
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • Willingness to travel throughout NSW and the ACT when required

This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a significant retail property portfolio while working alongside an experienced national team. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with a minimum of three days per week based in the Strawberry Hills office.
