About the Role

Working in our Temora store, you'll be involved in all the things that keep a Vinnies shop humming. You'll welcome customers, handle purchases, receive donations and help turn incoming stock into items ready for the shop floor. You'll also have a hand in sorting, pricing, merchandising and creating displays that catch the eye. Keeping shelves stocked, racks organised and the store looking inviting will be part of your day too. It's a hands-on role where you'll work alongside your teammates, meet plenty of different people and see the results of your work throughout the store. And because our sales help fund Vinnies programs and services, what happens on the shop floor contributes to something bigger.

This is a permanent part-time role, with a minimum of 45 hours per fortnight and availability required across weekdays.

About You

You’re someone who enjoys meeting people and brings a friendly, approachable nature to your work. You’re reliable, positive and happy to pitch in, whether you’re working with customers, volunteers or your teammates. You take pride in doing things well, notice the details and can easily move from one task to another when things get busy. You’re willing to learn, open to trying new things and bring a genuine interest in retail. Retail or customer service experience is welcome, but your attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as important.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a National Police Check and hold, or be willing to obtain, a Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card upon commencement.
