Restaurant Manager

Located in Coolangatta QLD 4225, Espresso Cooly, operated by The Trustee for Sun's Family Trust, is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and support the efficient delivery of food and beverage services.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the venue to ensure efficient and professional service.
• Supervising, training and coordinating front-of-house staff.
• Coordinating staff rosters, shifts and daily staffing requirements.
• Monitoring customer satisfaction and responding professionally to enquiries, feedback and complaints.
• Managing stock levels and coordinating the ordering of food, beverages and other supplies.
• Liaising with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Monitoring operational costs and assisting with budgeting and cost control.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and customer service.
• Overseeing reservations, table service and customer flow during service periods.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety and applicable hospitality requirements.

About You

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in restaurant management or a similar hospitality management role.
• Strong leadership, staff supervision and team management skills.
• Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Good understanding of stock control and day-to-day venue operations.
• Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy hospitality environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Salary: AUD $75,000 – $85,000 per annum
