Are you an experienced healthcare professional ready to take on a rewarding leadership role? I am working with a market leading not-for-profit Aged Care provider seeking a Residential Manager to run a Medium sized Residential Aged Care facility.
Position: Residential Manager
Location: Canberra, ACT
Employment Type: Full-time, on-site.
Remuneration: up to $165,000 + Super (DOE)
About The Role
The Residential Manager will oversee the daily operations of an aged care facility (80 beds), ensuring high-quality care and services for all residents. This role involves leading a team of dedicated professionals, implementing service improvements, and fostering a culture of excellence and respect within the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing all aspects of facility operations, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance
- Maintaining high standards of resident care and satisfaction
- Leading and supporting staff development and training initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, and the community
The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with a strong commitment to aged care excellence.
They will possess:
- Qualifications: AHPRA registration
- Experience: Prior experience in aged care management
- Skills: Strong leadership, financial management, and communication abilities
- Right to work: you must possess full working works in Australia - no sponsorship.
