Our practice offers a comprehensive range of services, including physiotherapy, clinical Pilates, remedial massage, hydrotherapy, rehabilitation and specialised exercise programs. We pride ourselves on providing personalised, evidence-based care in a supportive and professional environment.

We are currently seeking Remedial Massage Therapist to join the team! The Remedial Massage Therapist performs therapeutic massage and administers body treatments for relaxation, health, fitness and remedial purposes. This is a full-time ongoing position working 38 hours per week in Midland, WA.

Main tasks

  • Take a case history and assess the client's physical condition
  • Massage the soft tissues of the human body, such as muscles, tendons and ligaments, to assist healing
  • Assess and treat specific injuries and other soft tissue dysfunction, and provide rehabilitation advice
  • Administer treatments to promote relaxation, improve blood circulation and relieve muscle tension
  • Use a range of techniques to enhance sports performance and prevent injury
  • Provide advice about stretching exercises and relaxation techniques.
  • Keep accurate notes of treatment consultations provided. Monitoring the outcomes on an ongoing basis.
  • Consulting with other health professionals, to optimise the Patient's care.
  • Providing an ongoing management and treatment plan.
  • Instructing patients and their families in procedures to be continued at home.
  • Recording treatments given and patients' responses and progress.
  • Developing and implementing screening and preventative health promotion programs.
  • It is a requirement that you attend ongoing education program.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key referrers and organisations.
  • Promote “WA Physio Group” and the locations within the group that you work.
  • Work with the other professionals and the support staff provide the highest standards of care and service.

Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:

  • Minimum of relevant diploma plus minimum 1 year’ relevant work experience in the last 5 years.
  • 3 years’ relevant work experience may substitute the formal qualification.

Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Proficiency in remedial massage, soft tissue therapy and injury rehabilitation techniques.
  • Ability to assess client needs and develop appropriate treatment and management plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and patient-focused approach.
  • Ability to maintain accurate clinical records and monitor treatment outcomes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physiotherapists and other allied health professionals.

Annual salary will be between $79,000.00 to $82,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience.
