About This Role

Guide injured workers back to work through complex case management, workplace visits & collaboration with employers, insurers & health professionals.

Help injured workers achieve safe, sustainable return-to-work outcomes as a Rehabilitation Consultant based in Hobart, Tasmania. 

Employment type: Permanent, full time
Hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm
Work arrangement:
Office-based with hybrid working
Salary:
Based on experience + superannuation

Duties

  • Support injured workers throughout their recovery and return-to-work journey.
  • Collaborate with health professionals, employers and insurers to coordinate recovery.
  • Conduct assessments and prepare clinical recommendations and reports.
  • Visit workplaces and develop graduated return-to-work plans.
  • Liaise with doctors and treating health professionals about suitable timeframes.
  • Educate employers on injury prevention, workplace wellbeing and sustainable outcomes.

Skills & experience

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Hold registration with AHPRA 
  • Have full Australian working rights and an Australian Driver’s Licence.
  • Bring a customer-focused, quality-oriented approach to complex psychological injuries.
  • Experience level: Graduate, early-career or experienced
