About the Role
As a Mental Health Nurse, you will provide safe, person-centred care to consumers experiencing a range of acute mental health presentations while working within multidisciplinary teams.
You will:
• Deliver high-quality mental health nursing care in acute and inpatient settings
• Complete comprehensive mental health and risk assessments
• Support consumers experiencing mental health crises and complex presentations
• Implement and evaluate person-centred care plans
• Utilise therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medication management practices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive consumer outcomes
About You
• Current AHPRA registration
• Recent Acute Mental Health or Psychiatric Nursing experience
• Current National Police Check (within 3 years)
• Current SA Working With Children Check
• Strong risk assessment, de-escalation and crisis intervention skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Availability for day, afternoon and night shifts
• Full Australian working rights
