About the opportunity

Place Kangaroo Point is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join its established and high-performing team.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Property Manager with a strong background in residential portfolio management and a passion for leasing, building relationships and generating new business.

You'll work alongside the Head of Property Management in a supportive environment with established client relationships, strong systems and a genuine focus on delivering exceptional service.

What you'll be doing

• Manage an initial residential property portfolio of approximately 50–60 properties, ensuring properties are managed efficiently and proactively.
• Take primary responsibility for leasing, including coordinating open homes, processing applications and securing suitable tenants.
• Proactively generate new business opportunities, conduct appraisals and secure new property management agreements.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, routine inspections and property-related matters.
• Manage rental arrears, lease renewals and relevant compliance requirements.
• Ensure accurate documentation, reporting and adherence to legislation and company procedures.
• Identify opportunities to grow your portfolio through new business and contribute to the ongoing success of the department.

What we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced Property Manager who takes ownership, communicates confidently and enjoys the relationship-building and growth side of property management.

To be successful, you'll bring:

• Previous experience in residential Property Management, with strong leasing experience and ability to manage a portfolio independently.
• Experience generating new business, conducting appraisals and securing new managements, or a strong desire to develop these skills.
• A current Queensland Real Estate Registration Certificate.
• A valid driver's licence.
• Strong knowledge of Queensland tenancy legislation and property management compliance.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• A genuine commitment to building strong client relationships and contributing to a positive team culture.
• Availability to work Saturdays, with Tuesday to Saturday preferred. Flexibility around the weekday off may be available for the right candidate.
