About Our Client

What You Will Be Doing
- Carrying out blasting activities in accordance with site procedures
- Preparing, loading, and firing blast patterns safely and efficiently
- Conducting pre-blast inspections and safety checks
- Maintaining compliance with all legislative and site requirements
- Working closely with production and drill and blast teams
What You Will Need
- Current Queensland Shotfirer's Licence
- S1, S2 and S3 competencies
- G8 and G9 competencies or equivalent
- Security Sensitive Ammonium Nitrate (SSAN) clearance
- Previous experience in a coal mining environment
- Current driver's licence and full Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Desirable
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
- Previous experience delivering on-the-job training or mentoring
