Project Manager

The Company:
This Construction Project Manager role is with an established building and civil contractor with operations across remote Western Australia. You'll play a key role in delivering ground-up commercial builds, including a major new commercial facility and its ancillary works in remote WA. Reporting to senior leadership, you'll deliver high-quality outcomes from planning through to handover.

The Duties:

• Drive projects and ensure they stay within budget and timeframes
• Manage new build projects from the ground up, including civils and ancillary works
• Oversee steel works and concrete packages
• Manage stakeholder engagement, attend site and client meetings
• Planning, scheduling and delivery of projects through to completion
• Manage subcontractors and procurement
• Team leadership and site management
• Financial reporting, forecasting and cost control
• Undertake safety inspections and ensure WHS compliance
• Ensure strong documentation and record keeping

The Ideal Candidate:

• Tertiary education in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, or relevant trades, building, projects and/or management qualifications
• Considerable experience delivering commercial new construction projects
• Strong knowledge of steel works and concrete
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong financial reporting and cost management
• Process orientated, with strong planning and scheduling skills
