Allstaff Resources is currently seeking reliable and motivated Production Workers to join our client’s manufacturing team in Salisbury, producing premium Australian-made boots, leather goods and apparel. This is a great opportunity for candidates with manufacturing, production, warehouse, trade assistant or hands-on experience who are looking for stable, ongoing work with the potential to secure permanency.
Working as part of a supportive production team, your duties may include:
- Inspecting, trimming and finishing leather goods to a high standard
- Packaging and preparing products for dispatch
- Conducting quality checks throughout the production process
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
- Performing manual handling tasks, with some positions involving regular lifting and movement of heavier materials or products
- Standing for extended periods and undertaking repetitive physical tasks where required
Please note: The level of manual handling will vary between departments, with some positions being more physically demanding than others.
To be successful, you will have:
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, warehousing, trades or a similar hands-on environment
- Good physical fitness and the ability to safely undertake manual handling duties
- The ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
- Availability to work 38+ hours per week
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- A willingness to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
