Our client is a well-established, family-owned manufacturer supplying high-quality precast concrete products to major infrastructure, civil and construction projects across Queensland. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity offering genuine autonomy and the chance to play a key role in the continued growth of the operation.
Who you will be working with You’ll join a close-knit precast manufacturing team known for producing quality products and delivering reliably for major civil, construction and infrastructure projects across Queensland.
Working closely with the Operations Manager and business owners, you’ll become a key leader on the production floor, coordinating the team and ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard. This is a practical environment where good ideas are heard and strong operators are trusted to get on with the job.

Duties and responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the production team across daily precast manufacturing activities
- Allocate labour, equipment and resources to ensure production schedules are met
- Coordinate mould preparation, reinforcement, concrete pouring, stripping, finishing and yard activities
- Monitor product quality and ensure work is completed to drawings, specifications and customer requirements
- Oversee daily production progress and communicate issues, delays and resource requirements to the Operations Manager
- Promote safe work practices, maintain housekeeping standards and support continuous improvement across the production floor
We are looking for someone with
- Proven experience in precast concrete, concrete manufacturing, civil construction or a similar environment
- Previous experience leading or supervising a production team
- Strong understanding of concrete manufacturing processes, including moulds, reinforcement and pouring
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and production requirements
- Strong focus on quality, safety and productivity
- A practical, hands-on leadership style with a willingness to get involved on the floor
- Exposure to the following ISO standards
- ISO 45001:2018
Safety Management System - ISO 9001:2015
Quality Management System - ISO 14001:2015
Environmental Management System
- ISO 45001:2018
