Practice Nurse (RN, part time)

We’re a friendly general practice in Toorak looking for a part-time Registered Nurse to join our clinical team.
The role is approximately 5 days a fortnight, but we can be flexible.
What you’ll be doing
- Triage, immunisations and other injections, with AIR reporting
- Wound care, and assisting our GPs with procedures
- ECGs, Holter monitors and pathology collection
- Chronic disease management, care plans and patient recalls
- Looking after the vaccine fridge and cold chain, including twice-daily temperature checks
- Infection control, sterilisation and keeping clinical stock and equipment in order
What you’ll need
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- At least three years’ nursing experience, ideally in general practice or community nursing
- Current CPR certificate
- Solid knowledge of immunisation schedules, diabetes and asthma management, and infection control
It would be great if you also have
- Experience with Best Practice software
- Extra training in wound care, diabetes education, asthma/spirometry or women’s health
