  • About the job

    Physiotherapist – Part-Time / Casual

    Centred Ground

  • Bowden, SA

Centred Ground is a small, growing physiotherapy-led allied health collective in Bowden, and we’re looking for a physiotherapist to join the practice in a flexible part-time role.

We’re intentionally building a different kind of private-practice environment, one that values thoughtful, relationship-based care rather than high-volume appointments.

Our physiotherapists work with 45–60 minute consultations, time built in for documentation and payments, and a strong hands-on MSK focus supported by exercise therapy, rehabilitation and education where appropriate.

The role would suit someone who enjoys clinical autonomy, values genuine relationships with patients, and wants to be part of a warm, grounded practice with room to grow.

    What the role offers

    • Flexible part-time hours, initially around 15 hours per week
    • Scope to increase hours as your caseload develops
    • 45–60 minute appointments
    • Time built into the schedule for notes and payments
    • A calm, welcoming and non-high-volume environment
    • A strong hands-on MSK focus
    • Autonomy with support from the Principal Physiotherapist when needed
    • Opportunity to develop your own caseload within the practice
    • Potential progression to permanent part-time
    • Optional involvement in our Strong Seniors program if of interest
    • $46.35–$51.49 per hour depending on experience and applicable Award classification, plus superannuation and a productivity-based incentive

    About you

We’d love to hear from a physiotherapist who:

    • has around 2–3 years of experience, ideally in private practice and/or a predominantly MSK or outpatient setting
    • has strong clinical reasoning and confidence managing common musculoskeletal presentations
    • communicates warmly and professionally with patients
    • is reliable, motivated and comfortable working autonomously
    • values building genuine therapeutic relationships rather than high patient throughput
    • takes pride in documentation, follow-up and patient experience
    • is comfortable working independently when they may be the only practitioner on site
    • enjoys being part of a collaborative environment while taking ownership of their work

Exceptional early-career physiotherapists or new graduates with strong communication, initiative and clinical reasoning are also welcome to apply.

    Essential requirements

    • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a physiotherapist
    • Current First Aid and CPR certification
    • Appropriate Australian working rights

    Hours

Hours are negotiable and can be shaped around the successful applicant.

Current availability includes combinations of Monday, Tuesday morning, Wednesday afternoon, Thursday morning, Friday and potentially alternate Saturdays.
