Pearl Recruitment are currently seeking reliable warehouse workers for an ongoing opportunity with our client, a well-established national logistic service provider based in Forrestfield.
The role will initially involve 3 days per week, with the roster subject to change depending on workload and performance.
Temporary Forklift Operators
Forrestfield Location $35 -$40.00/hr + Super + Penalties
8:00am - 4:00pm | Initially 3 Days Per Week
What Will You Be Doing?
Working as part of a small warehouse team, your duties will include:
- Unloading containers manually and using a forklift
- Picking and moving stock throughout the warehouse
- Operating a forklift with a clamp attachment where required
- Regularly getting on and off the forklift to assist with picking and unloading
- Reading and cross-checking product descriptions against stock
- Using RF scanners to assist with warehouse operations
- Completing general labouring and manual handling duties
- Maintaining an organised and safe working environment
What Are We Looking For?
- Current LF forklift licence is essential
- Previous clamp attachment experience is highly regarded
- Experience in container unloading, picking or general warehouse duties
- Ability to read and accurately cross-check product descriptions
- Experience using RF scanners
- Physically fit and comfortable with regular manual handling and frequent movement on and off the forklift
- Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
- Availability to work 8:00am - 4:00pm, initially 3 days per week
