Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the overall management, operation and administration of the OSHC and Vacation Care service, including staffing, records, budgets and financial accountability.
- Designing, implementing and evaluating engaging recreation and leisure programs aligned with My Time, Our Place V2 and the National Quality Standard.
- Creating an inclusive environment that supports each child’s participation, wellbeing and individual needs.
- Mentoring, developing and supporting educators while building a collaborative, growth-focused team culture.
- Maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, safeguarding, workplace health and safety, child–staff ratios, risk management and audit requirements.
- Building strong, respectful partnerships with children, families, school staff and support professionals.
About You
We are looking for an approachable and capable leader who:
- Has demonstrated experience leading staff and managing an OSHC and Vacation Care service.
- Brings excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and time-management skills.
- Can confidently manage administration, budgets, rosters, compliance and unexpected situations.
- Understands the National Quality Framework, My Time, Our Place, child protection obligations and relevant workplace health and safety requirements.
- Is committed to inclusive practice, positive relationships and developmentally appropriate programs for children.
- Will uphold and actively contribute to the Catholic ethos of Antonio Catholic School.
Role requirements include:
- An ACECQA-approved qualification at Tier 2 or above if included in centre ratios; otherwise, a relevant tertiary qualification equivalent to two years of full-time study or demonstrated equivalent competencies.
- A current acceptable Working with Children Check and screening clearance for Catholic Education South Australia.
