Role Overview
As an Operational Governance Associate, you will support the delivery of periodic statements and help maintain business rules, processes and ways of working. You will contribute to disclosure reviews, data stewardship, operational controls and continuous improvement activities across superannuation and direct investments.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support operational governance activities covering statements, business rules, disclosures and data stewardship
  • Review forms and correspondence for accuracy, usability and administration requirements
  • Assist with frameworks, testing and process validation to support delivery readiness
  • Maintain processes, frameworks, business rules and ways of working
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk
  • Monitor relevant industry developments, regulatory changes and governance practices
  • Review compliance with internal controls, audit requirements and regulatory standards
  • Prepare supporting materials for operational controls

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in operations, controls or administration within superannuation or investment management
  • Understanding of operational controls, statement delivery, disclosures or data stewardship
  • Exposure to risk, governance or vendor oversight processes
  • Understanding of fund structures, financial instruments and the regulatory environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build effective working relationships across teams
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
  • Comfortable managing changing priorities and deadlines
