Yarra College Australia (YCA), operated by Yarra Education Australia Pty Ltd, is a Melbourne-based Registered Training Organisation (RTO 45992) providing nationally recognised education and industry-focused vocational training to domestic and international students. The college offers programs across Hospitality, Business Management and Leadership, Information Technology, Building and Construction Trades, and English Language, including General English, English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and CELPIP preparation. YCA combines structured education with practical, industry-relevant training and student support to build the knowledge, technical skills and professional capabilities needed for further study, career development and participation in the Australian workforce. The college is currently seeking a hardworking and skilled Office Manager to join its growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and coordinate the day-to-day administrative operations of Yarra College Australia to support the effective delivery of education and training services.
- Develop, implement and review administrative policies, procedures and systems to improve office efficiency and service delivery.
- Coordinate student administration, enrolment records, course documentation, attendance records and other student-related administrative processes.
- Supervise, train and support administrative staff, allocate workloads and monitor performance to ensure timely and effective completion of office functions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student, staff, academic and corporate records, databases, correspondence and documentation in accordance with organisational requirements.
- Coordinate administrative processes relating to course scheduling, classroom resources, training facilities and student support services.
- Liaise with students, trainers, education agents, suppliers and external service providers to facilitate effective communication and smooth administrative operations.
- Coordinate invoicing, accounts administration, payroll support, fee-related records and other financial processes associated with the college's operations.
- Monitor office expenditure, procurement of supplies, equipment and services, ensuring resources are available to support ongoing college activities.
- Assist management with RTO compliance, workplace health and safety, regulatory requirements, audits, reporting and quality assurance processes.
- Prepare administrative reports, staff schedules, student-related documentation and operational information to support management planning and decision-making.
- Coordinate the maintenance of office facilities, equipment and administrative resources to ensure a professional and functional learning environment.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant qualification in business administration, management or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- At least two year of relevant full-time work experience.
- Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.
- Excellent administrative, record management and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
