SustainHealth Recruitment is proud to exclusively partner with Maryvale Private Hospital to appoint an experienced Theatre Nurse Unit Manager.
Join a not-for-profit organisation and a major healthcare provider in the region.
This is a key leadership role which you will be responsible for operational efficiency and performance within the Operating Rooms.
The Role
- Lead and support a high-performing theatre team to deliver exceptional clinical care
- Minimum commitment of 64 hours per fortnight
- Provide hands-on leadership in a rural setting, with visible impact and influence
- Contribute to a values-driven care model focused on Excellence, Kindness, and Collaboration
- Support Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs) and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Foster a collaborative, respectful culture that enhances teamwork and patient outcomes
About You
- AHPRA Registered as Nurse Division 1 with a minimum 5 years’ experience
- Clinical and leadership experience in perioperative setting
- Experience with successfully managing multiple stakeholders and partnerships across service sectors
- Involved in clinical projects, quality improvement initiatives and knowledge of NSQHS National Standards accreditation requirements
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office suite
