About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Motor Vehicle Accessory Fitters to join our friendly team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics and fault finding on vehicles
- Carry out auto electrical repairs including wiring, sensors, starters, alternators, and other electrical components.
- Conduct routine servicing, mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance on various vehicles.
- Install and wire vehicle accessories including alarms, radios, lighting systems, and 4x4 electrical components.
- Complete 4x4 fit-outs, suspension upgrades, and accessory installations.
- Provide technical support, customer consultation, and recommendations for vehicle accessories and upgrades.
- Manage stock control, workplace safety compliance, and coordination of workshop personnel.
What We’re looking for
- At least 2 years of proven experience as an Auto Electrician and/or Accessory Fitter within the automotive industry.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience with 4x4 fit-outs, suspension upgrades, and accessory installations is highly regarded.
- Sound knowledge of vehicle servicing, preventative maintenance, and mechanical repairs.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to provide technical advice and recommendations.
- Relevant trade qualifications and a current driver’s licence are highly desirable.
What We Offer
- Attractive hourly rate, equivalent to an annual salary of $80,000–$100,000, depending on experience, skills, and relevant qualifications.
