About the role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Motor Mechanic to join their professional and friendly team. This role will allow you to utilise your skills and experience to provide service, maintenance, and repairs to a wide range of vehicles. The role is full time, and ongoing.
- Based in Dandenong Vic
- Attractive salary in the range $80k to $85k plus superannuation per annum
- Ongoing training and supportive team environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide first rate servicing and repairs to a wide range of vehicles.
- Identify mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance services as well as more complex repairs like engine rebuilds, transmission overhauls and replacing worn or damaged parts.
- Adhere to safety standards, following safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment, including the proper disposal of hazardous materials and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
You should be able to demonstrate the following attributes and strengths to be considered:
- Highly relevant trade qualifications (Certificate IV or agreed equivalent)
- At least 1 or more years’ post-training professional experience, preferably more.
- Demonstrated passion towards the automotive industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Solid references.
- A can-do attitude and team spirit.
- Great time management skills.
You must have unrestricted full time Australian working rights to be considered.
