Mobile Plant Operator, Irrigationist Assistant, Facility Supervisor

Wolfies Farms is seeking motivated and experienced candidates to join our agricultural operations team in Rossmoya, QLD. The following full-time positions are available:

1.Mobile Plant Operator

• Operate tractors and mobile plant machinery including bedformers, rippers, ploughs, cultivators, spray units, forklifts, and harvest-assist equipment.
• Perform pre-planting, in-crop, harvest, and post-harvest field operations.
• Carry out chemical mixing and application in compliance with label directions and Freshcare/HARPS requirements.
• Conduct daily pre-start checks, routine maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of machinery use, chemical application, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety, environmental, and farm compliance requirements.

2.Irrigationist Assistant

• Operate, monitor, and maintain irrigation systems including drip/trickle tape, pumps, valves, filters, and mainlines.
• Implement irrigation schedules based on crop and soil moisture requirements.
• Inspect irrigation infrastructure, diagnose faults, and carry out intermediate-level repairs.
• Monitor water usage, efficiency, and water quality, and report improvement opportunities.
• Maintain irrigation records, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.
• Work closely with Farm Management, Agronomists, and Irrigation Managers to support crop performance.
• Assist with interpreting irrigation layouts and hydraulic requirements under the guidance of the Irrigation Manager.

3.Facility Supervisor

• Oversee daily packhouse operations including washing, grading, packing, hygiene, dispatch, and quality control.
• Coordinate with Farm Manager, machinery operators, transport providers, and customers to meet order and dispatch requirements.
• Supervise packhouse staff to ensure compliance with SOPs, Freshcare, HARPS, and Fair Farms standards.
• Manage farm accommodation facilities, including inspections, entry/exit reports, resident compliance, and stock control.
• Identify and report maintenance and repair issues across packhouse and accommodation facilities.
• Maintain accurate operational, traceability, and compliance records.

Job Summary

• Location: Rossmoya, QLD 4702
• Salary Range: $71,000 - $72,000 per annum plus superannuation
• Employment Type: Full Time (38 hours per week)
• Work Location: In-person
